Frédéric Cossard

Domaine de Chassorney, Burgundy

Frédéric Cossard, winemaker of the Domaine de Chassorney, began his estate in 1996, in Saint-Romain. Knowing the work of the vineyards from his grandfather, Frédéric Cossard didn't begin his career in the wine by making it himself straight away. Before deciding to make his own, he was working as a wine merchant. He then divided his work into two parts - the wines from the Domaine de Chassorney, and those made under his own label, SARL Frédéric Cossard. The Domaine de Chassorney produces Volnay, Pommard, Saint Romain, Savigny les Beaune and Auzey Duress, and his SARL Frédéric Cossard works with Nuits St. George, Puigny Montrachet, Chambolle Musigny and Vosne Romanée.
