Agnès, René, Joseph & Sylvestre Mosse

Domaine Mosse, Loire Valley

Agnès and René Mosse started the Domaine Mosse in 1999 with 9 hectares of vines in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay. After several years of learning the job of winemakers near natural wine adepts, the Mosses started to replant their vines, implementing biodynamic farming methods. Their two sons, Joseph and Sylvestre, are now helping them with the estate that covers 15.6 hectares in the "Côteaux du Layon" appellation area.

The Mosses and their team encourage the microbial life in their vineyards by working the soils using only organic treatment against mildew and pests. This patient work helps them reveal the terroir in their wines.
