WINEMAKING STYLE
Fermentation usually takes place in used 500, 1000 and 1500-liter barrels, and the wine stays in these barrels for an elevage for about 8-12 months, with no batonnage.
Wines are bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero addition of sulfur.
FUN FACTS
Each bottle features a hand-drawn portrait of a family member. The fictional family spans 3 generations, where each family member coincides with it's taste profile and characteristics.
Younger generations are planted. on gravel soils, with the wines being more lively, or having youthful characteristics. Whereas, the older generations are from vines planted on limestone and slate soils above the village, giving the wines a more mature and 'grown-up' personality.
