Valentin Montanet

Domaine de la Cadette & Domaine Montanet-Thoden, Burgundy

Valentin Montanet always grew around winemakers, with both his parents working vines in Burgundy (Domaine de la Cadette by his father Jean, and Domaine Montanet-Thoden by his mother Catherine). He farms organically 20 hectares of vines in Burgundy, playing with the fruits to produce crisp, highly drinkable Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

"Composing wines with climate, soil, topography, varietals and microbial life. In other words, producing with what nature provides while remaining ourselves." - Valentin Montanet
