Valentin Montanet always grew around winemakers, with both his parents working vines in Burgundy (Domaine de la Cadette by his father Jean, and Domaine Montanet-Thoden by his mother Catherine). He farms organically 20 hectares of vines in Burgundy, playing with the fruits to produce crisp, highly drinkable Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
